Overview

In this role you will join a multi-disciplinary team to design, write, and execute test cases for a large-scale systems integration programme. You will interface with multiple teams and customer stakeholders to validate software products, their interfaces, and related infrastructure. You will document results, report defects, and drive improvements in testing processes. This position combines hands-on test work with collaboration across disciplines to ensure requirements are met and risks are managed. Responsibilities
  • Design, write and execute test cases based on requirements and design docs
  • Interface with SMEs, suppliers and stakeholders to generate tests
  • Document test results, defects, and progress updates
  • Investigate issues with suppliers to identify root cause and resolution
  • Analyse data and test evidence to demonstrate requirement compliance
  • Identify and implement process improvements in testing
  • Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical staff
  • Plan and estimate own tasks and manage progress
Key requirements
  • ISTQB/ISEB Foundation Certificate in software testing
  • Onsite work 2-3 days per week
  • Strong understanding of Testing Lifecycle and functional, non-functional, and integration testing
  • Experience with 1GL–3GL languages (e.g., Ada, C, C++)
  • Experience with Waterfall and V-model development
  • Experience on Linux operating systems and related development environments
  • Ability to estimate and plan own tasks and manage completion
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Good time management and organisational skills
  • Proactive troubleshooting mindset and willingness to learn new technologies
