Intermediate Accountant Financial Reporting

Prepare financial statements and tax returns with BDO’s Financial Reporting & Insights team in Huntsville, supporting varied client industries. Build trusted relationships through clear accounting advice and responsive service.

BDO seeks an Intermediate Accountant with at least two years of public accounting experience. You will prepare compilation engagements, corporate, personal, trust, and partnership tax returns, plus information returns and slips. The work also includes resolving accounting issues and supporting managers and partners.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare year-end working papers and compilation financial statements
• Prepare and review T2, T1, T3, and partnership returns
• Complete T4, T4A, T5, and related CRA filings
• Resolve accounting and bookkeeping issues while meeting deadlines
• Communicate with clients about information requests and accounting matters

Requirements:

• At least two years of public accounting experience
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple engagements and deadlines
• Commitment to teamwork, client service, and detailed quality work
• Interest in developing knowledge across varied industries
