Azure operations and incident response define this Intermediate Site Reliability Engineer role in Waterloo or Toronto, with hybrid work Tuesday through Thursday.

You will support enterprise Azure and Databricks platforms in production. The position emphasizes reliability, monitoring, availability, operational readiness, and platform support. Collaboration spans platform engineering, security, network, application, and data teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor production Azure and Databricks environments
  • Respond to incidents and service requests
  • Troubleshoot networking, storage, identity, and access issues
  • Manage alerts, dashboards, and operational monitoring
  • Maintain runbooks, procedures, and platform documentation

Requirements:

  • Three or more years supporting Azure infrastructure
  • One or more years supporting Databricks environments
  • Experience with Azure Storage and ADLS Gen2
  • Understanding of Entra ID, RBAC, and Key Vault
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
