Intermediate Enterprise Applications Architect

Shape composable applications architecture across Land and Resources Sector environments, working hybrid three days weekly from an LRC location in Ontario.

This intermediate Applications Architect develops enterprise solutions aligned with GO-ITS, OPS Target State Architecture, and the LRC Technology Roadmap. The work spans options analysis, conceptual architecture, application integration, and stakeholder communication. You will assess requirements, environments, and technology choices while supporting large, distributed systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Define application structures, components, relationships, interfaces, and quality metrics
• Conduct solution options, cost-benefit, and feasibility analyses
• Create conceptual and detailed enterprise architecture deliverables
• Design API and data streaming integrations using modular approaches
• Visualize complex concepts for technical and business audiences

Requirements:

• Experience developing application architectures at the intermediate level
• Experience with multiple platforms, operating systems, databases, and programming languages
• Knowledge of middleware, gateways, performance, and structured methodologies
• Experience modelling current and future-state enterprise architectures
• Exceptional communication, facilitation, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
