Intermediate Financial Analyst Capital Accounting

Apply advanced financial analysis and reporting skills as an Intermediate Financial Analyst at the University of Toronto, working 70% onsite.

Within Capital Accounting, you will oversee budgets, revenue activities, and financial management for University operations. This full-time position requires financial modeling, forecasting, policy application, and stakeholder consultation. You will support accurate reporting, informed decisions, and effective financial administration.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee budget planning, analysis, forecasting, and financial management
• Analyze revenue activities and recommend budget allocations
• Maintain, reconcile, and report on funding accounts
• Prepare government and financial reports
• Model complex financial data and resolve discrepancies

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or equivalent education and experience
• Minimum five years' related financial experience
• Experience with capital projects and construction industry knowledge
• Advanced Microsoft Office, Excel, and FIS proficiency
• Strong communication, organization, judgment, and confidentiality skills
