Intermediate Front End Software Developer

Build front-end solutions with WordPress, React, Java, and Spring Boot in a provisionally hybrid assignment supporting Ontario Courts technology.

This intermediate Software Developer will develop public and internal support websites for the Court Technology & Transformation Division. The work includes translating wireframes, managing component libraries, integrating APIs, and supporting self-service information. You will contribute to testing and ongoing website operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain MAG websites and web components
• Translate wireframes and creative concepts into implemented components
• Integrate contact center and ticketing system technologies
• Conduct unit, functional, performance, and security testing
• Support production troubleshooting and day-to-day operations

Requirements:

• 3+ years developing WordPress customization projects
• 3+ years using WordPress Core and custom themes
• 3+ years with HTML, JavaScript, Java, CSS, and Spring Boot
• 3+ years with React, React Native, Angular, or Vue
• Experience with REST, XML, WCAG, and AODA requirements
