Intermediate Java Software Developer

Build Java application features onsite five days weekly while translating specifications into tested, maintainable code for enterprise applications.

This Intermediate Software Developer develops and maintains Java components under senior technical guidance. The work spans user interfaces, services, APIs, integrations, databases, and cloud-based microservices in Microsoft Azure. You will support coding, testing, deployment, defect resolution, and documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Write, configure, test, and update Java application code
• Develop Microsoft Azure cloud-based microservice components
• Create and maintain automated unit tests
• Troubleshoot defects and support formal testing
• Participate in code reviews and implement corrections

Requirements:

• Five-plus years developing complex enterprise or public-facing applications
• Experience with user interfaces, APIs, services, integrations, and databases
• Experience developing and deploying cloud-based applications
• Experience with automated testing, deployment, and configuration management
• Knowledge of secure coding, accessibility, privacy, and performance considerations
