Intermediate Site Reliability Engineer AWS

Build reliable AWS production systems at ContactMonkey as an Intermediate Site Reliability Engineer focused on Kubernetes and Terraform. This full-time role includes shared on-call rotation after onboarding.

Work with SRE and development teams to maintain infrastructure, improve deployments, investigate production issues, and address security risks. You will support SOC 2 controls and GDPR compliance while using AI coding agents for Terraform, incident debugging, and operational automation. The environment includes EKS, Terragrunt, GitHub Actions, Prometheus, Grafana, and CloudWatch.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain AWS and Kubernetes production environments
• Build Terraform modules and manage Terragrunt configuration
• Improve CI/CD pipelines, releases, and rollback procedures
• Investigate incidents using logs, metrics, dashboards, and alerts
• Strengthen IAM, secrets, network, and Kubernetes security

Requirements:

• Around three to five years of relevant engineering experience
• Hands-on AWS production workload experience
• Terraform, Terragrunt, Docker, and Kubernetes experience
• Understanding of Linux, networking, DNS, HTTP, and TLS
• Practical application security and automation experience
