Intermediate Software Engineer Node.js APIs

Build web applications and API services as an Intermediate Software Engineer, using Node.js, Express, and software troubleshooting skills.

This permanent full-time role supports analysis, design, coding, configuration, documentation, and assessment throughout the software project life cycle. You will contribute to system changes, production support, and application problem resolution, including off-hours support when required. The position supports day-to-day operations within Information Technology.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze user needs and evaluate application change impacts
• Develop and review software, code, and unit tests
• Write design documents, implementation plans, and operating procedures
• Monitor ServiceDesk queues and triage tickets accordingly
• Perform troubleshooting and root cause analysis for incidents

Requirements:

• One to four years of relevant experience
• Web application and API service development ability
• Familiarity with CI/CD and software engineering processes
• Understanding of SQA, functional, unit, and shift-left testing
• Node.js/Express and a related post-secondary degree or diploma
