Intermediate SQL Database Administrator

Shape reliable analytics with SQL, data modeling, and reporting expertise as an Intermediate Database Administrator supporting evidence-based decisions.

This Intermediate Database Administrator leads functional and ministry-specific analytics initiatives from requirements gathering through reporting and dataset delivery. The work includes data cleaning, transformation, database connections, documentation, testing, and Power BI reporting. You will collaborate with Data Architects, ETL Developers, functional experts, client groups, and stakeholders to create Business Intelligence solutions and actionable insights.

Key Responsibilities:

• Transform and clean legacy data for a new data warehouse
• Develop mapping and transformation rules between databases
• Create data dictionaries for newly structured data
• Support Power BI visualization and report building
• Develop and test automated data validation tools

Requirements:

• Experience with one or more database technologies
• Proficiency with SQL and SQL script development
• Experience cleaning, transforming, and joining data
• Experience applying data standards and dimensional models
• Subject matter expertise in warehouse or data mart design
