What you will be doing:

• Help deploy, operate, and maintain backend and platform services onAWS.

• Support Kubernetes (Amazon EKS) clusters and containerizedworkloads.

• Build and maintain automation with Ansible, scripting, and Infrastructureas Code.

• Develop and maintain Node.js (JavaScript/TypeScript) services andinternal tooling.

• Monitor system health, troubleshoot incidents, and perform root cause analysis.

• Manage MongoDB databases - backups, restores, and basic performance tuning.

• Support and improve CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.

• Use AI assistants and agents (e.g., for coding, scripting, log analysis,documentation, and routine ops) to increase your speed and quality -and help the team find good, safe ways to apply them.

• Write clear technical documentation and operational runbooks.

• Collaborate with developers to improve reliability and deploymentpractices.

• Participate in on-call rotations after training.

What you must have:

Education

• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in Computer Science,Engineering, IT, or a related field.

Experience

• 1-3 years of experience across backend development, systems/IT administration, or DevOps (co-op and internship experience counts).

• Solid programming/scripting ability, ideally Node.js(JavaScript/TypeScript); comfort in at least one language.

• Working knowledge of Linux administration.

• Experience with Git and version control.

• Familiarity with REST APIs and general web/network fundamentals.

• Comfort using AI tools (coding assistants, chat-based agents) in dailywork -or clear enthusiasm to adopt them - along with the judgment to use them responsibly and verify their output.

Salary/Rate Range: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00
