Job Details:
- Assignment dates: November 24, 7am through December 7, 7am
- Will see inpatient consults, ED consults, and transfers
- Active Texas medical license required - TX license only accepted
- Board certification required
- ACLS certification required
- Perform upper GI endoscopy including with biopsy, foreign body removal, fulguration of bleeder (cautery vs. laser), and injection of varices
- Perform ERCP (endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography) - diagnostic and therapeutic
- Perform upper GI endoscopy with PEG (percutaneous endoscopic gastrostomy)
- Esophageal dilatation/manometry and esophageal manometry interpretation
- Small bowel biopsy
- Lower GI endoscopy including sigmoidoscopy (flexible and rigid)
- Colonoscopy with biopsy and excision of polyp
- Liver biopsy
- Insertion and management of Sengstaken/Blakemore tube
- Nearest airport: Gregg County Airport
