Internal Medicine Physician

An organization is seeking an Internal Medicine Physician in Newark, New Jersey to provide ambulatory primary care within a Department of Medicine setting. This role focuses on patient care in a full-time weekday schedule with no on-call responsibilities.

About the Opportunity:

• Shift: Day shift
• Schedule: Monday through Friday
• Hours: 40 hours/week
• Setting: Primary Care / Ambulatory

Responsibilities:

• Provide internal medicine care for adult patients in an ambulatory setting
• Evaluate, diagnose, and manage a broad range of primary care and medical conditions
• Maintain a patient volume of approximately 18 to 22 patients per day
• Document patient encounters and manage care plans in Epic
• Coordinate care with other providers and support continuity of care within the department

Qualifications:

• Board certification in Internal Medicine
• Experience providing ambulatory or primary care in an outpatient setting
• Ability to manage a weekday full-time patient schedule

Desired Skills:

• Experience using Epic
• Familiarity with department of medicine workflows
