Locums - Baraboo, Wisconsin, Primary Care Job (IMLC Accepted)

Start Date: 11/16/2026

Coverage Dates:

  • November 16-28, 2026

  • December 17-23, 2026

  • December 28, 2026-January 1, 2027

Schedule:

  • 4-5 days per week, Monday-Friday Starting January 4, 2027

  • Shift options:

    • 8:30 AM-4:30 PM

    • 9:00 AM-5:00 PM

  • No after-hours call.

  • Participates in Doctor of the Day (DOD), addressing patient calls during business hours after nursing staff triage.

  • No hospital rounding required.

Practice Details:

  • Facility Type: Outpatient primary care clinic

  • Practice Setting: Family Medicine / Internal Medicine

  • EMR: Epic

  • Average Daily Census: 18-22 patients

  • Patient Population: All ages; providers who see adults 18+ only can be accommodated.

  • Heavy geriatric population, along with middle-aged and younger adults.

  • Patients often have complex chronic conditions, including diabetes, heart disease, and multiple comorbidities.

Clinical Responsibilities:

  • Provide standard primary care services and clinic procedures.

  • Manage patients with multiple chronic conditions, including diabetes and heart disease.

  • Most procedures are handled by the residency clinic.

  • Support Staff: 1:1 support ratio with a clinical MA, LPN, or RN.

Requirements:

  • Internal Medicine board certification required/preferred per facility listing.

  • Active Wisconsin medical license required; IMLC accepted.

  • BLS certification required.

  • ACLS certification preferred but not required
