Locum Tenens Primary Care Physician

Location: Cookeville, Tennessee
Client: Valor Healthcare
Setting: VA community-based outpatient clinic
Assignment: 9 12 months
Requested start date: January 1, 2027
Schedule: Monday Friday, 8:00 a.m. 4:30 p.m.
Pay: $120 $130 per hour
Travel and lodging: Covered

We are seeking a family medicine or internal medicine physician for a locum tenens assignment serving military veterans in Cookeville, Tennessee. This is a 100% outpatient primary care position.

Responsibilities

  • Provide outpatient primary care to veterans.
  • Evaluate patients, develop care plans, and document visits in the clinic s medical record system.
  • Coordinate care with the clinic team as appropriate.

Qualifications

  • MD or DO with an active Tennessee medical license.
  • Board certified or board eligible in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine .
  • Experience providing outpatient primary care.
