Role Overview
We are seeking a patient-focused, Board-Certified Internal Medicine Physician to join an established outpatient practice in Winchester, VA. In this role, you will take over an existing, well-maintained patient panel of approximately 2,500 patients in a collaborative clinical environment centered on quality care and long-term health outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive adult primary care in an outpatient clinic setting.
Manage an established patient volume of approximately 25-30 patients per day.
Conduct clinical evaluations, order diagnostic testing, manage chronic conditions, and coordinate preventive health plans.
Collaborate with clinical support staff to maintain efficient patient care and timely electronic documentation.
Work Schedule & Call
4-day workweek.
Light phone-only call schedule (1 in 8 rotation).
No hospital rounds or inpatient coverage required.
Qualifications
Board-Certified MD or DO in Internal Medicine.
Active Virginia Medical License (or eligible to obtain licensure prior to start date).
Prior outpatient internal medicine experience preferred.
