Internal Medicine Physician

Locum Hospitalist Physician (MD)

Location: Alaska

Start Date: 01/01/2027

Assignment Length: Estimated 6 months (intermittent coverage)

Schedule: Variable 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM and 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM. Must be willing to work night shifts.

Practice Setting: Inpatient hospital medicine, including med-surg and ICU rounding and admissions

Average Daily Volume: Approximately 10 patients per day

EMR: Epic

Call: No

Preferred Skills: Vent management, intubation, and central line placement preferred

Requirements:

MD designation required

BLS and ACLS (AHA or American Red Cross)

Recent Internal Medicine or Family Medicine clinical activity within the last 24 months consistent with requested privileges

Experience: Minimum 2 years required; 5 years preferred

Travel and Lodging: Travel, lodging, and rental car support may be available
