- The candidate will be responsible for building a client base of high-net-worth individuals, families and business owners by leveraging RBC Dominion Securities’ strong brand and reputation.
- The candidate will be responsible for creating customized portfolios and wealth plans by leveraging RBCs investment and wealth management resources.
- The candidate will be required to develop and maintain strong, trusted relationships through personalized financial advice and service.
- The candidate will be required to maintain strong reciprocal relationships with RBC partners such as Personal & Commercial Banking and Insurance to ensure clients are supported in all aspects of their financial lives.
- The candidate must have excellent people and problem-solving skills that help build and maintain client relationships.
- The candidate must show a self-starter mindset and the ability to manage their daily activities independently.
- The candidate will be required to be motivated to deliver meaningful work that helps clients achieve their life goals through strong planning and financial advice.
Job Requirements
- The candidate will be required to have 4-6 years of outbound sales experience and be comfortable working on 100% commission.
- The candidate should have completed the Canadian Investment Regulatory Exam, CIRE and the Retail Securities Exam (RSE), or be able to complete them prior to the start date.
- The candidate must be passionate about financial planning and genuinely interested in portfolio management.
- The candidate must have a background in direct marketing within financial services and show success in high value sales and business growth, regardless of discipline.
- The candidate will be expected to build strong relationships and connect with individuals from different backgrounds.
- The candidate must hold recognized certifications in Certified Financial Planner (CFP), Chartered Investment Manager (CIM), and Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA).
