About the Opportunity

Senior Analyst Investment Operations – 6 Month Contract

Responsibilities

  • Support investment closings, including documentation review, system setup, transaction processing and settlement.
  • Manage daily trading activity, cash events and the lifecycle of investment transactions.
  • Maintain accurate investment records, positions, reconciliations and asset servicing activities.
  • Support complex fixed income investments and monthly/quarterly valuation reviews.
  • Investigate and expand discrepancies or operational issues as required.
  • Partner with internal teams, asset managers and service providers to resolve issues and meet reporting requirements.
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes and operational efficiency.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of relevant investment operations experience
  • Experience working with fixed income
  • Strong understanding of settlements, reconciliations, valuations and asset servicing.
  • Strong analytical and financial skills with advanced Excel proficiency.
  • CFA, CPA or CSC (enrolled or completed) is considered an asset.
