Investment Risk Analytics Analyst

Apply quantitative analysis and data science to investment risk at OMERS, collaborating with Total Plan Risk teams across a global pension investor.

This Analyst role suits someone early in their career with an interest in risk and data science. You will support OMERS investment activities through risk analytics, investment data, and research. The work connects performance, market, liquidity, credit, and emerging risk analysis with total portfolio decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide insights and risk analysis with Total Plan Risk
• Develop tools measuring and reporting investment risk
• Research analytical measures and conduct stress tests
• Support Board and Senior Leadership risk reporting
• Monitor investment risk policies and corresponding limits

Requirements:

• University degree in a quantitative discipline
• Experience with large datasets and numerical computing tools
• Ability to apply complex financial and statistical methods
• Python and Power BI experience is an asset
• Strong communication, relationship-building, and intellectual curiosity
