iOS Engineer

As an iOS Engineer at ASOS, you will build scalable, high-quality mobile experiences for millions of users. You’ll collaborate with product managers, designers and engineers to deliver customer-focused solutions and help evolve our iOS platform. • Deliver high-quality features following iOS best practices and platform guidelines
• Build scalable, maintainable, well-tested apps with seamless user experiences
• Collaborate with product managers, designers and engineers to shape solutions
• Work within agile, cross-functional teams to solve complex challenges
• Take ownership of your work and contribute ideas to improve products and practices
• Support code quality, maintainability, performance and accessibility

• Experience building iOS apps using Swift and core iOS frameworks
• Proficiency with Xcode, Interface Builder and Auto Layout for responsive UIs
• Understanding of Apple Human Interface Guidelines and design principles
• Knowledge of common software design patterns and architecture concepts
• Insight into writing clean, maintainable code and improving codebases
• Experience building apps that run well on iPhone and iPad
• Familiarity with unit testing and contributing to test coverage
• Experience with UI automation tools or willingness to learn them
