Overview

In this IT Business Analyst role, you join a cross-functional agile delivery team within Computershare Technology Services to bridge technology and business needs. You’ll shape the Product Backlog by gathering stakeholder requirements early in the SDLC and translating them into clear user stories. You’ll collaborate with technical and non-technical audiences, lead workshops, and mentor junior BAs. The role offers variety across many products, a strong team culture, and opportunities to influence delivery and stakeholder communications.

Responsibilities
  • Facilitate stakeholder workshops and identify/prioritize requirements using structured analysis techniques
  • Write high-quality, clear User Stories and articulate Product Backlog vision
  • Provide coaching and mentoring to less experienced analysts
  • Support effort estimation for User Stories using the team’s sizing method
  • Represent the delivery team in wider projects and communicate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Key requirements
  • Experience in an Agile software development environment
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication with diverse audiences
  • Ability to lead requirements workshops and identify priorities
  • Formal IT Business Analysis qualification or similar (preferred)
  • Understanding of SDLC, software architecture, and related technologies
  • Attention to detail and strong analytical/problem-solving skills
  • Experience with basic scripting and database queries
  • Relationship-building, collaboration, and resilience in the face of challenge
  • Experience in Financial Services or regulated industries (desirable)
