Overview

As a Business Analyst in Yorkshire Water’s Technology team, you will lead analysis across multiple change initiatives to translate needs into clear requirements and design specifications. You’ll work with stakeholders to capture needs, model current and future processes, and support test activities to deliver fit-for-purpose solutions. The role supports transformational change in a mission-driven environment focused on reliable water and environmental stewardship. This hybrid role offers development opportunities and cross-functional collaboration to shape customer-focused improvements.

Responsibilities
  • Lead business analysis across multiple change initiatives, turning needs into actionable requirements
  • Produce specifications for IT solutions including UI design, data models, process changes, and interfaces
  • Apply requirements engineering techniques (elicitation, analysis, validation, documentation, traceability)
  • Conduct stakeholder interviews, workshops, and surveys to capture accurate requirements
  • Develop AS-IS and TO-BE process models and support gap analysis for transition planning
  • Manage stakeholder communications across all levels
  • Ensure User Acceptance Testing is completed and support related testing activities
  • Contribute to delivering effective, fit-for-purpose business solutions
