We’re partnering with a well-known UK organisation embarking on a significant technology and business transformation programme. As part of this journey, they’re looking to appoint an experienced IT Business Partner to act as the strategic link between Technology and the wider business.

This is a highly visible role where you’ll work closely with senior stakeholders, shape technology roadmaps, lead a team of business systems specialists, and ensure technology investments deliver real business value.

The Opportunity

As IT Business Partner, you’ll build trusted relationships across the organisation, developing a deep understanding of business objectives and translating them into technology solutions that drive operational and commercial success.

You’ll lead a team responsible for business applications and systems, overseeing the delivery of technology initiatives, supplier relationships, and application roadmaps while ensuring the business receives a first-class IT partnership service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build strong relationships with senior business stakeholders and leadership teams.
  • Develop and own technology roadmaps aligned to business objectives.
  • Lead, coach and develop a team of Business Systems Managers and Developers.
  • Drive the successful delivery of application and business system improvements.
  • Act as the primary technology advisor to assigned business functions.
  • Manage third-party suppliers and strategic technology partnerships.
  • Lead business change and transformation initiatives.
  • Manage budgets and ensure value-for-money technology investments.
  • Promote best practice across applications, systems and service delivery.

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience operating as an IT Business Partner, Technology Business Partner, Business Relationship Manager or similar role.
  • Strong stakeholder management experience with senior leadership teams.
  • Experience of Technical solutions including ERP/WMS
  • Experience in Logistics, Warehouse Management, FMCG or Supply Chain.
  • Proven ability to understand business processes and translate requirements into technology solutions.
  • Experience delivering application, business systems or digital transformation projects.
  • Supplier and vendor management experience.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience developing high-performing teams.
  • Broad understanding of enterprise applications, business systems and IT architecture.
  • Ability to challenge constructively, influence decision-making and drive change.
