Are you ready to take your career to new heights? Edinburgh Airport is looking for an enthusiastic and driven IT Change Lead to join our dynamic team.

As the IT Change Lead, you will play a crucial role in supporting our ambitious growth strategy by facilitating a wide range of technology changes across the airport. You will directly contribute to the delivery of technology at all levels, from supporting capital delivery programmes and construction-led activity, through to implementing smaller-scale IT solutions that have a direct and positive impact on the business.

These smaller-scale solutions could include supporting the development and implementation of cyber security frameworks, scoping and delivering practical IT tools, or responding quickly to emerging business needs where technology can provide a timely and effective solution. About the recruitment process

The recruitment process for this role will likely comprise of 2 stages. For successful candidates, the first interview will be a short Teams call, to discuss your experience and interest in the role. For those selected to progress, the second stage interview will be an in person interview, with our IT Service Delivery Manager and one of our IT Project Managers. This will be a competency based interview, with a mixture of technical and values based questions.

What you'll be doing

• Lead and coordinate small to medium IT change initiatives, ensuring clear requirements, plans, risks, issues, dependencies and outcomes are understood and managed.
• Drive the collaboration with stakeholders at all levels of the business to understand operational needs and translate them into clear IT requirements.
• Lead the collaboration from all IT specialisms, suppliers and business stakeholders to ensure solutions are designed, delivered and transitioned effectively.
• Be a custodian for governance and control across the IT change portfolio, including adherence to IT change management best practice.
• Manage and prioritise a portfolio of third-party or campus partner technology requests, ensuring expectations, costs, timelines and dependencies are clearly communicated.
• Play a key part in ensuring new or changed services are adopted smoothly by operational teams, with appropriate communication, training, documentation and support arrangements in place.
• Support the delivery of IT workstreams within wider capital, construction and business change projects.
• Identify opportunities to improve IT change processes, tools and ways of working, promoting a culture of continuous improvement.
• Build trusted working relationships across the airport, acting as a positive and pragmatic representative of the IT department.

What we're looking for

To apply for this role, you'll need:

• The successful candidate must be able to obtain a Counter Terrorism Check, so you must have lived in the UK for at least the last 3 consecutive years
• Experience project/change methodology
• Experience with IT change
• Great work ethic and organisational skills
• Good communication skills, both written and oral
• Good analytical and critical thinking skills
• Experience working on projects and/or in an IT function

The following knowledge would be nice to have, but is not essential for this role:

• Airport/Aviation Experience
• Experience working with cross functional teams
• Prior project delivery experience
• Prior experience of IT systems and/or infrastructure
