Overview

As a Cloud Platform Network Engineer, you will design, deploy and manage scalable cloud infrastructure on Azure, collaborating with product teams and stakeholders to deliver secure, reliable solutions. You help shape cloud architectures that balance performance, security and scalability while advancing automation and platform processes. You will maintain documentation, oversee vulnerability remediation, patching, and BC/DR readiness, and provide advanced technical support across the IT landscape. This role offers hands-on impact in a fast-evolving cloud environment and a culture that values collaboration and delivery.

Responsibilities
  • Manage and maintain on-premises and cloud network infrastructure
  • Deploy and design scalable Azure-based cloud solutions with development teams
  • Plan and implement cloud architectures focused on scalability, performance and security
  • Create and maintain cloud network security documentation
  • Manage vulnerability management and remediation per policy
  • Patch systems and schedule changes per policy
  • Troubleshoot edge connect issues and document steps in ITSM tool
  • Provide advanced technical support to other departments
  • Monitor systems and services with IT department tools
  • Liaise with vendors and external partners
  • Ensure BC/DR protection for all services and appropriate backups
Key requirements
  • Knowledge of Azure with security best practices
  • Background in Infrastructure/Network Administration/DevOps
  • Proficiency in coding languages
  • Experience with vulnerability management and remediation
  • Experience configuring dynamic routing protocols (BGP, OSPF)
  • Experience with Zero Trust Networking
  • Experience with SD-WAN technologies
  • Extensive knowledge of Azure, AWS and other cloud technologies
  • Strong team player with good communication
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage time effectively
  • Experience maintaining cybersecurity products and following CIS/ISO27001
  • ITIL foundation or knowledge of ITIL processes
  • Willingness to work weekends and travel as required
