Position Summary: The IT Data Developer - Student will support the development, maintenance, and improvement of the company's data, analytics, and artificial intelligence capabilities. Reporting to the Manager, Data & Integration, this will gain hands‑on experience in data engineering, data analytics, BI development, and data governance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain data pipelines
  • Work with business stakeholders to understand reporting and data requirements.
  • Assist with dashboard and reporting development.
  • Support data validation, testing, and data quality activities.
  • Create and maintain technical and business documentation.

Qualifications

  • Enrolled in a post‑secondary program in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Analytics, Software Engineering or related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and learn quickly.
  • Experience with SQL.
  • Familiarity with Python, Spark, Power BI, or AI tools is considered an asset.
