Overview

In this role you will own the organisation’s technology estate and digital services, shaping IT strategy and driving digital transformation. You will collaborate with stakeholders, suppliers and senior leadership to keep systems secure, compliant and aligned with business goals. You’ll lead business systems, cyber security and AI governance initiatives in a hands-on, cross-functional environment. This is a chance to influence technology enablement in a growing logistics automation company and to drive impactful improvements.

Responsibilities
  • Administer and manage the Microsoft 365 environment
  • Support and maintain core business applications (SharePoint, Box, Notion, Microsoft Project, Visio) and manage licenses and access
  • Maintain IT hardware, software and digital asset records; monitor system performance
  • Identify opportunities for technology improvements and operational efficiencies
  • Develop, implement and maintain IT policies, procedures and documentation
  • Drive cyber security awareness and controls; monitor threats with external providers
  • Ensure compliance with security standards and frameworks (ISO 27001, Cyber Essentials)
  • Lead AI governance framework implementation and digital transformation initiatives
  • Manage relationships with external IT support providers and software vendors
  • Coordinate service reviews, escalations and supplier performance
  • Support procurement of hardware, software and services
  • Communicate technology updates and collaborate with engineering, operations and commercial teams
  • Act as primary internal IT and digital services contact and guidance provider
Key requirements
  • Experience in IT/Technology management or senior IT operations roles
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 and cloud technologies
  • Experience managing business systems, software licensing and IT infrastructure
  • Understanding of cyber security, information security and IT governance
  • Experience with third-party suppliers and managed service providers
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Experience leading technology improvements and digital transformation projects
