Overview
As IT Director for a City bank, you will lead software development and infrastructure, driving IT transformation to boost efficiency and customer experience across channels. Responsibilities
- Oversee software development and infrastructure teams
- Lead end-to-end software and application development projects
- Drive IT transformation initiatives to improve operations and customer satisfaction
- Deliver IT solutions across online banking, mobile, and in-branch channels
- Develop and implement IT policies, procedures, and best practices
- Collaborate with HR, Finance, Treasury, Risk & Compliance, Data Governance, and Business Transformation to plan IT needs
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards
- Manage IT budgets, resources, and vendor relationships
- Report IT strategy, progress and performance to the Board
- Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement
Key requirements
- Minimum 10 years IT management experience
- Extensive software and application development leadership
- Proven IT transformation project experience in banking (investment/private)
- Strong understanding of banking operations, regulations, and compliance
- Experience leading both software and infrastructure teams
- Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills
- Ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders including HR, Finance, Risk and Compliance, and Data Governance
