IT Director of Ecommerce Systems

Overview
In this role you own the definition, delivery, and architecture of a new ecommerce platform, integrating with LIMS and ERP systems to support Eurofins’ global ecommerce activities. You will partner with business, sales, supply chain, and engineering teams to shape an enterprise-wide ecommerce vision across geographies and business units. You’ll lead large-scale digital commerce transformations, including modernization and global standardization, delivering measurable value. This is a high-impact leadership role with a clear hook in scaling complex, regulated, multi-market operations.
Responsibilities- Global platform leadership and scale for high-volume ecommerce ecosystems
- Define and manage product backlog, roadmap, and integration with LIMS, finance, and supply chain
- Coordinate overall technical architecture and ensure alignment with enterprise standards
- Drive end-to-end customer journey design and optimization (UX/UI, A/B testing, conversion)
- Oversee delivery management with Agile ceremonies and cross-functional coordination
- Engage stakeholders and communicate progress, balancing priorities
- Oversee ecommerce-LIMS-supply chain integrations and regulatory-compliance across geographies
- 8+ years in IT leadership roles in software product development (Digital Commerce & ERP) for complex enterprise platforms
- Experience managing development teams and delivery lifecycles
- Strong knowledge of Agile (Scrum/Kanban) with backlog and sprint execution
- Experience with ecommerce platforms and ERP/LIMS/CRM integrations
