IT Hardware Specialist – Quant Trading

• Liaise with IT and Systems to incorporate hardware choices
• Integrate and troubleshoot hardware in Windows and Linux environments
• Support end‑users by deconstructing problems and providing solutions
• Coordinate with hardware vendors and assess options
• Provide in‑depth written assessments of hardware options
• Troubleshoot driver issues in Windows OS
• Maintain strong written and verbal communication with stakeholders
• Work in a fast‑paced, agile environment

• 4+ years of experience in an IT Support role focusing on hardware
• In‑depth knowledge of computer hardware and desktop technologies (audio/video)
• Experience integrating and troubleshooting Windows drivers
• Excellent communicator with clear explanation of complex issues
• Powershell would be a bonus
• Strong understanding of hardware options and ability to write assessments
• Advanced knowledge of Active Directory/DNS/DHCP
• Hands‑on experience in demanding, changing environments
