In this role you will support and shape the hardware and end-user computing environment for a fast-paced quantitative trading firm. You will collaborate with IT and Systems to select and deploy hardware across Windows and Linux, ensuring reliable performance for traders and researchers. You will automate routine tasks using PowerShell and troubleshoot driver issues, contributing to a high-technology culture with ambitious standards. This is a hands-on, vendor-facing role in a globally active trading environment, offering significant impact and growth. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to keep critical systems efficient and up-to-date.

- Liaise with IT and Systems to incorporate hardware choices in Windows and Linux environments
- Research and recommend hardware options; perform in-depth assessments and documentation
- Troubleshoot and integrate hardware drivers and related components
- Automate tasks and workflows using PowerShell
- Coordinate with hardware vendors and external stakeholders
- Operate in a fast-paced, change-ready environment
- Support IT end-users and deconstruct technical problems for effective solutions
- 7+ years of IT Support/Desktop hardware-focused experience
- In-depth knowledge of computer hardware, desktop technologies, and AV
- Experience integrating and troubleshooting Windows drivers
- PowerShell proficiency (must)
- Strong AD/DNS/DHCP knowledge
- Experience in a fast-paced or agile environment
