Overview

In this role, you implement and optimise Siemens Opcenter MES within a connected Azure-based manufacturing ecosystem. You collaborate with Siemens, internal teams, and external partners to deliver reliable deployments and integration with PLM and ERP systems. You will drive deployment, configuration, and ongoing maintenance across development, test, and production environments. This position sits at the intersection of manufacturing, engineering, and enterprise systems, enabling digital manufacturing transformation and operational excellence.

Responsibilities
  • Lead deployment and configuration of Siemens Opcenter on Microsoft Azure across multiple environments
  • Collaborate with Siemens engineers to troubleshoot and validate configurations
  • Manage Windows services and command-line operations to support MES deployment
  • Support integration of Opcenter with Teamcenter Easy Plan and SAP S/4HANA (PLM/ERP alignment)
  • Liaise with external partners during system replatforming and transition activities
  • Contribute to test planning and ensure environment readiness
  • Document deployment processes and drive continuous improvement of MES practices
Key requirements
  • Proven experience with Siemens MES toolset (OpsCenter and Teamcenter)
  • Strong knowledge of software deployment lifecycle and configuration management
  • Experience integrating MES with PLM and ERP systems (Teamcenter Unified, SAP S/4HANA)
  • Experience deploying and managing MES in Azure Cloud
  • Proficiency with Windows command prompt and service management
  • Experience remote collaboration and screen sharing for troubleshooting
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-vendor environment
