IT Infrastructure Architect

As IT Infrastructure Architect you will lead the design and standardisation of the company’s global IT infrastructure, focusing on cloud-based services and the Microsoft ecosystem. You will work with stakeholders to define standards and roadmaps, and rollout services across the business. The role blends architecture leadership with hands-on IAAS management, collaboration with IT Security, and vendor engagement to deliver secure, scalable infrastructure. This is a globally-dispersed, enterprise-scale position with hybrid work and travel. You will help shape the modern workplace, networks, and monitoring capabilities to support critical operations.

• Provide infrastructure architecture leadership and expert consulting
• Research emerging IT infrastructure platforms and initiate projects including architecture, licensing model, and business case
• Propose new IT standards and implementation roadmaps for infrastructure services
• Collaborate with IT vendors to select and implement appropriate IT services
• Provide technical design expertise to businesses and support in-house infrastructure teams
• Monitor adoption of services, manage compliance reporting and assist with remediation
• Oversee services including network/firewalls, modern workplace, IAAS, vulnerability scanning and service monitoring/alerting

• At least 10 years’ experience in IT infrastructure with a focus on cloud-based services
• Expert level understanding of the Microsoft ecosystem (solutions & licensing)
• Experience managing federated IT teams and delivering programmes and projects
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Hands-on experience managing an IAAS environment
