Overview

In this role you will provide 2nd/3rd line IT infrastructure support for a global company, coordinating across offices in English and Japanese. You will manage deployments, incidents, and migrations while liaising with HQ and local teams to ensure smooth IT operations. The role combines hands-on technical support with project coordination and user training. This is an opportunity to impact global IT services in a fast-changing environment.

Responsibilities
  • Act as 2nd/3rd line IT infrastructure support for enquiries and incidents
  • Escalate incidents to appropriate vendors and manage with ServiceNow
  • Support IT infrastructure-related projects and deployments/migrations
  • Coordinate with HQ project lead in Japanese and with local users in English
  • Provide user manuals and training during deployments
  • Global user support and end-user assistance during system changes
Key requirements
  • 3+ years IT experience in a corporate environment
  • 2nd/3rd line technical support experience
  • Basic network knowledge (TCP/IP, proxy, firewall, switching, routing, WiFi)
  • Windows 10, Windows Server, Azure basic knowledge
  • Microsoft Office 365 knowledge
  • Strong English & Japanese (reading/writing/speaking)
  • Good interpersonal skills and ability to work independently or in a team
  • Experience with incident management and ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow)
  • Project management experience preferred
