IT Line Support Technician

Robert Half is partnering with an automotive client to fill a Line Support Technician position to provide hands‑on technology support in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment. This role is 100% onsite and plays a critical part in keeping production systems running smoothly.

Key responsibilities include:

• Supporting plant-floor applications and end-user computing devices
• Troubleshooting Windows desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, and handheld devices
• Supporting LAN/network connectivity issues
• Monitoring production systems and responding to alerts
• Assisting with technology upgrades and implementations
• Working directly with manufacturing users to support production processes
• Escalating issues to Level 2/3 support when required
• Documenting incidents and following established procedures

Required Skills & Experience

• Desktop support and end-user computing experience
• Windows 7/10 support
• Active Directory administration
• LAN/network troubleshooting
• Microsoft Office
• Ticketing systems
• Hardware troubleshooting:
• PCs/Laptops
• Printers
• Scan guns
• Handheld/mobile devices
• Experience working with escalation processes (Level 1 → Level 2 → Level 3)

Preferred

• AIX/UNIX experience
• Manufacturing or plant-floor IT support
• Knowledge of GALC/ALC systems and related business processes

• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
• Process-oriented and able to follow documentation
• Good written and verbal communication
• Ability to learn quickly in a changing environment

Schedule & Shift Details

100% onsite in Anna, OH

• Monday-Thursday: 2:30 PM - 11:00 PM and
• Friday: 3:30 PM - 12:00 AM

The hourly rate for this position is $28/hr W2 to $35/hr W2. Benefits available to contract/temporary professionals, include medical, vision, dental, and life and disability insurance.
