Overview

In this hands-on IT role you will anchor site operations at the Bromborough site, bridging local IT, Group IT, and external partners. You’ll support about 200 users, manage end-user devices and site systems, and drive the Dynamics 365 Finance & Supply Chain Management implementation from testing to go-live. You’ll combine IT delivery with stakeholder engagement, vendor governance, and security/compliance to keep manufacturing systems reliable and aligned with business goals. This is a chance to shape how technology enables factory operations and cross-functional teams in a growing private-label cereal business.

Responsibilities
  • Provide first- and second-line IT support for ~200 employees across office and shop-floor environments
  • Manage end-user computing devices, printers, and AV; handle onboarding/offboarding and access requests
  • Own the IT request queue; escalate to Head of Group IT or external partners as needed
  • Maintain site network connectivity, Wi‑Fi, and local servers; support OT/shop-floor systems
  • Perform identity and account administration (Microsoft 365, Active Directory/Entra ID)
  • Maintain hardware inventory and lifecycle procurement
  • Support wider applications at site (Microsoft 365, quality systems, EDI, reporting tools)
  • Act as on-site key-user for Dynamics 365 F&SCM: data gathering, testing, training, go-live support
  • Embed new processes and tools post-go-live
  • Follow group security policies; assist with patches, backups, endpoint protection, and access controls
  • Support GDPR and IT general controls/audit requirements; aid business continuity and disaster recovery
  • Coordinate with managed service providers, telecoms, and hardware vendors; track tickets and deliveries; escalate as needed
  • Drive IT service delivery, supplier performance, and user adoption of business systems
  • Support testing, training, change management, and go-live activities for D365; act as local champion for D365 F&SCM
Key requirements
  • Hands-on IT support experience, preferably in manufacturing/FMCG or operational environments
  • Experience with Dynamics 365 Finance & Supply Chain Management
  • Broad IT skills across Windows, Microsoft 365, basic networking, and hardware
