Overview

As IT Manager, you lead a hands-on internal tech function in a London organisation, taking ownership of operations and key projects within a modern Microsoft environment. You will mentor a small IT team, handle service delivery and escalations, and act as the senior technical escalation point. You’ll stay technically involved with Microsoft 365, Azure, Intune and Defender while driving improvements. This role offers the chance to influence technology strategy and resilience in a mid-sized setting.

Responsibilities
  • Lead, mentor and develop the internal IT team
  • Own service delivery, escalations and operational performance
  • Drive ITIL-based service improvements and user satisfaction
  • Manage third-party suppliers, partners and technology vendors
  • Support project delivery and business technology initiatives
  • Act as the senior escalation point for complex technical issues
  • Administer and optimise Microsoft 365 and Azure environment
  • Manage Entra ID, Intune and endpoint security policies
  • Administer Defender, SharePoint Online and Teams environments
  • Manage Exchange Online and email security policies
  • Oversee backup, disaster recovery and business continuity processes
  • Ensure systems remain secure, resilient and highly available
