IT Network Specialist

• Support the day-to-day operation of a global enterprise network spanning LAN, WAN, wireless, Internet, cloud and SD-WAN environments
• Resolve complex network incidents and service outages with vendors, service providers and internal technology teams
• Lead incident and problem resolution activities and communicate status updates to stakeholders
• Participate in on-call support and operational escalation
• Identify and implement improvements to reliability, performance, scalability, security and operational efficiency
• Participate in infrastructure deployments, technology refresh projects, site integrations and modernization initiatives
• Develop and maintain technical standards, documentation and operating procedures
• Support cloud networking architectures on public cloud platforms
• Serve as a subject matter expert for DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, load balancing, IP networking, routing protocols, application connectivity and performance optimization
• Contribute to the automation of provisioning, configuration, validation and reporting
• Support CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code practices
• Maintain and improve IPAM, monitoring and network inventory tools
• Collaborate with application, cloud, security and infrastructure teams in an Agile environment
• Participate in sprint planning, backlog refinement, user story writing and Agile ceremonies
• Provide technical expertise for cross-functional initiatives and project deliveries
• Mentor team members and share technical expertise, best practices and troubleshooting techniques

Requirements

• Must be fluent in English; bilingualism will be considered an asset
• Strong experience supporting enterprise-scale network environments
• Expertise in routing, switching, wireless, WAN, Internet and network security concepts
• Experience with Azure cloud networking technologies
• Knowledge of network monitoring, observability and management platforms
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to resolve complex technical issues
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Experience working in Agile or DevOps-oriented delivery models is an asset
• Experience with network automation tools such as Ansible, Python, Terraform or equivalent is an asset
• Knowledge of Palo Alto firewalls, F5 load balancers and NetBox IPAM is an asset
• Cisco CCNP certification is an asset
• Cloud networking certification is an asset
