IT Operations Team Manager

Lead critical business applications at Alberta Blue Cross using IT operations management, coaching, and strategic resource planning. Flexible home and office work is available.

As Team Manager, you will lead System Analysts responsible for maintaining and continuously improving business systems and processes. This IT leadership role combines operational oversight with mentorship, performance management, change management, and stakeholder collaboration. You will support service delivery excellence across business services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage operations for critical business applications and services
• Coach, mentor, recruit, and develop System Analysts
• Prepare resource plans and allocate operational and project work
• Lead change initiatives, pilots, and proof of concepts
• Monitor improvement outcomes and adjust initiatives accordingly

Requirements:

• University degree, diploma, or technical institute diploma
• Minimum five years leading IT teams providing technical services
• Understanding of the System Development Life Cycle
• Planning, organization, prioritization, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication skills and commitment to customer support
