IT Ops Engineer – Windows Linux

In this role you ensure the availability of IT systems used by traders and colleagues throughout the trading day, spanning end-user devices, applications, and back-end infrastructure. You will work closely with traders and developers to prepare systems for pre-market activities and maintain a calm, fast-paced tech environment. • Ensure availability of IT systems from office to exchanges during trading hours
• Build and deploy new PCs; manage resource utilization and patching for Windows Server and Linux
• Administer Active Directory, Office 365, and identity/access controls
• Manage AWS services and infrastructure; perform Linux system administration
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues on-site and remotely
• Monitor systems with Grafana and Elastic; ensure performance and availability
• Document processes, create runbooks, and automate repetitive tasks
• Collaborate with traders and developers to prepare for pre-market activities
• Own incidents from detection through resolution with minimal downtime
• Ensure regulatory compliance reporting

• Ideally prior experience in financial services
• Experience managing a Windows Server environment (Server 2016 preferred)
• Experience building and maintaining Windows 10 desktops
• Linux experience
• Experience maintaining Microsoft SQL Server
