IT Project Manager (ERP / SAP Transformation)

In this role you will lead a major SAP-led ERP transformation for a well-established UK organisation, guiding the programme from planning through deployment and adoption. You will work with senior stakeholders and partners to deliver significant operational and systems change, ensuring governance, risk control, and cross-functional alignment. The position is highly visible and focuses on delivery, business change, and stakeholder management. A strong impact driver, you will help shape how the enterprise uses SAP to optimise operations and enable scale.

• Lead the ERP implementation programme through go-live and business adoption
• Manage implementation partners, third-party suppliers and key project stakeholders
• Coordinate multiple workstreams and manage risks, dependencies, and timelines
• Establish programme governance, reporting structures and delivery controls
• Oversee testing, training, business readiness and change management activities
• Collaborate with Finance, Operations and Technology teams to ensure successful implementation and adoption
• Provide regular programme updates to senior leadership and executive stakeholders

• Proven experience leading ERP implementation projects or programmes through full lifecycle
• Experience in SAP environments is essential
• Experience delivering or supporting SAP implementation programmes is highly desirable
• S/4HANA experience is advantageous but not essential
• Experience managing implementation partners, systems integrators and third-party vendors
• Strong governance, stakeholder management and risk management capability
• Experience delivering business change alongside systems implementation
• Experience in manufacturing, distribution, warehousing, logistics, wholesale or supply chain environments advantageous
