IT Risk Management Specialist

Strengthen BDC’s technology risk management with Information Security expertise in a hybrid work model supporting Canadian entrepreneurs. Your judgment will guide critical risk decisions.

As an IT Risk Management Specialist, you will support Operational Risk Management programs across BDC. Apply technology risk, governance frameworks, and analytical skills while reviewing assessments and challenging first-line stakeholders. Contribute to strategic and digital transformation initiatives through credible oversight, reporting, and guidance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support RCSA, KRI, BCM, and operational risk programs
• Review and challenge Information Security and Technology risk assessments
• Monitor remediation activities and action plans
• Manage risk reporting, analysis, and governance presentations
• Enhance ORM methodologies, tools, procedures, and governance documents

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in technology, business, or related discipline
• Minimum five years in technology or Information Security risk
• Knowledge of governance, risk, controls, and Three Lines models
• Advanced Microsoft Excel and strong analytical skills
• Excellent French and English written and verbal communication
