IT Senior Solutions Engineer (Multi Office Based)

As Senior Solutions Engineer you will own the day-to-day provisioning and management of air-gapped IT infrastructure, building a new platform from the ground up and aligning site operations with the global IT strategy. You will resolve complex technical issues, drive process improvements, and ensure security and regulatory compliance. This role sits at the Cyber Centre of Excellence, collaborating with IT and security teams to deliver reliable, high-performance VDI services. Your work supports critical defense programs and secure information exchange.

• Manage day-to-day operations of on-premises VDI environment with focus on performance, security, and user experience
• Lead migration and enhancement projects for next-generation VDI platforms
• Collaborate with Architecture, Service Delivery, and third-party vendors to integrate new technologies and drive service improvements
• Ensure VDI compliance with security standards and data protection regulations
• Oversee incident management and change workflows using service platforms
• Maintain and upgrade core infrastructure (servers, networks, systems) in line with compliance requirements (NIST, ISO27001, Cyber Essentials Plus)
• Deliver strategic projects to improve IT services and efficiency
• Maintain robust IT security, data protection, and regulatory adherence
• Coordinate backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity testing
• Monitor technology advances and plan succession for key implementations
• Prepare proposals for IT improvements and annual budget submissions
• Coordinate with global teams to align site priorities with the IT strategy

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Information Systems, or equivalent experience
• Minimum 5 years in IT infrastructure or solutions engineering
• Eligibility to obtain/maintain required security clearance
• Strong conflict-resolution and cross-functional collaboration skills
• Experience in a global enterprise environment
