Overview
As IT Operational Delivery Project Manager, you will lead the DEX Sustainability program from design through delivery and value realisation, ensuring service performance, stability, and cost control. You’ll coordinate cross-functional teams to achieve operational readiness, smooth transitions to BAU, and ongoing risk reduction in a global Energy setting. This role combines project leadership with operational service management in a data-driven, cloud-based environment. You will partner with leadership to communicate risks and drive measurable improvements.
Responsibilities- Lead DEX Sustainability from design into delivery, implementation and value realisation
- Oversee service performance, stability, incidents, risk and OPEX
- Leverage infrastructure knowledge including resilience, environments, release management and change control
- Define and manage Non-Functional Requirements and operational outcomes
- Drive operational readiness, service transition, deployment and handover to support
- Identify delivery risks, root causes, process inefficiencies and systemic issues
- Communicate technical and operational issues clearly to leadership and stakeholders
- Lead cross-functional teams through delivery, testing, deployment and transition to BAU
- PMP, PRINCE2, Agile or equivalent certification
- Strong Agile and Waterfall delivery experience
- Proven delivery of technology projects into production
- Operational readiness and service transition experience
- Cloud, SaaS and digital platform experience
- Governance, assurance and vendor management
- Planning, budgeting, dependency and risk management
