IT Service Performance Analyst

In this role, you will turn performance data from the end-to-end service value chain into clear insights that drive decision-making and continuous improvement. You’ll collaborate with stakeholders to identify reporting needs, analyse trends, and communicate findings to inform actions. You’ll monitor performance, support governance and engagement activities, and help enhance the digital service experience. This position sits within SSE’s IT services, contributing to a large-scale energy transition strategy.

• Identify performance information needs across the end-to-end service value chain and align reporting requirements
• Plan, prioritise, and deliver trend-based analyses and targeted reports for varied audiences
• Collaborate with stakeholders to interpret findings, highlight issues, and propose action
• Monitor performance trends and impact of improvement activity, communicating progress and evidence
• Support wider service strategy and governance activities, coordinating inputs and engagement content

• Understanding of service management principles and how value and performance are delivered across multiple teams
• Experience consolidating information from diverse sources to analyse performance and draw insights
• Ability to visualise and articulate findings clearly to support decision-making
• Strong written, verbal, and facilitation skills with cross-functional collaboration
• Independent work style with ownership, prioritisation, and an analytical problem-solving approach
