Description

As an IT Service Transition Manager at Foster + Partners , you will play a key role in ensuring technology services are designed, delivered and transitioned seamlessly into operation. Working across infrastructure, service delivery and project teams, you will help shape how change is governed and implemented, driving service excellence while ensuring projects align with strategic business goals and deliver lasting value.

This role is ideal if you want to:

• Lead the successful transition of technology services from project delivery into live operations.
• Influence how infrastructure projects are prioritised, governed and delivered across a global organisation.
• Drive continuous improvement in service design, transition and operational processes.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across technology, business and supplier teams to deliver meaningful outcomes.
• Help shape the future of IT Service Delivery through agile ways of working and best-practice service management.

What you will bring to the team:

• Extensive experience managing infrastructure projects, service transition activities or project governance functions.
• Strong knowledge of ITIL and IT Service Management best practices, particularly Service Design and Service Transition.
• Proven experience overseeing multiple initiatives and aligning delivery with strategic business objectives.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to build trusted relationships across teams and suppliers.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with experience identifying and mitigating delivery risks.
• Effective communication and reporting skills, with confidence presenting updates and recommendations to senior stakeholders.
• A proactive mindset with the ability to drive change, challenge existing processes and champion continuous improvement.
