IT - Solutions Developer V

Our client is a top financial institution with significant North American holdings. They have operations across most major verticals, including institutional & corporate, wealth management, private clients, commercial banking, treasury, and retail banking.

Robertson is seeking a skilled IT - Solutions Developer V to join our client in support of an existing vacancy.

Contract Period: 12 months with potential to extend or convert

Pay Rate: Starting form $74 per hour

Location: Toronto, ON

Location Type: Hybrid

Business Hours: Monday-Friday, Core business hours

Job Responsibilities:

Experience & Qualification Requirements:

• University or College degree/diploma required
• 10+ years of experience with Swift programming language, with a good understanding of Objective-C
• 2+ years of hands‑on expertise in SwiftUI with a focus on adaptive UI design and reusable components
• 2+ years of hands‑on experience in Swift Concurrency (Async/Await, minimum 2 years)
• Demonstrated ability to write comprehensive unit tests using XCTest, Swift Testing, and Snapshot tests, ensuring high code reliability and test coverage (minimum 80%)
• Experience of ApplePay and Wallet (PassKit)
• Knowledge of CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions and workflows, with a focus on automating testing, builds, and deployments
• Scripting skills using Ruby, Python, yaml and Bash for automating repetitive tasks and optimizing development workflows
• Banking or financial institution experience
