IT Support Engineer – Cloud Systems

Do you enjoy being the person who gets technology working for everyone else? We are recruiting for a growing engineering business where you will take ownership of day-to-day IT support and help develop the cloud systems the team relies on.

This is a varied, hands-on role. One day you might be setting up equipment for a new colleague; the next, resolving a system issue or improving how the business uses its cloud tools. You will have the freedom to spot problems, suggest better ways of working and see the impact of your ideas.

What you will do

• Set up laptops, desktops, mobile devices and user accounts.
• Support colleagues with hardware, software and connectivity issues.
• Manage IT onboarding, offboarding, access permissions and equipment records.
• Support and maintain cloud-based systems.
• Work with external IT providers where needed and identify practical improvements.

What you will bring

• Hands-on experience in IT support, including computer setup and troubleshooting.
• Experience with a cloud platform such as Google Cloud or AWS.
• Good communication skills and the confidence to support colleagues across the business.
• A practical, proactive approach suited to a small, growing team.

Programming or scripting experience would be a bonus, but it is not essential. We are most interested in someone who can confidently support the IT environment and bring useful cloud experience.
