Robert Half is offering a four-month contract opportunity for an IT Support Specialist in Ashcroft, in the interior of British Columbia near Kamloops. The contract may be extended. Free private apartment accommodation is included.

Responsibilities

  • Provide first-tier support for hardware, software, and network issues; troubleshoot, resolve, or escal
  • Set up and configure laptops, desktops, mobile devices, and printers.
  • Manage user accounts, access permissions, and security protocols.
  • Collaborate with IT teams on system updates, migrations, enhancements, rollouts, and process automation.
  • Document IT processes, solutions, configurations, and user guides.
  • Monitor system performance and address potential issues to minimize downtime.
  • Develop training materials and train users on new systems and tools.
  • Help ensure systems follow security best practices and compliance requirements.
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Compensation: $22–$27 per hour.
